Quick Update

Hey everyone, just wanted to hop in for a bit. It's been a crazy couple of weeks. Birthday celebrations, throw in some recurring illness, and this Saturday, a root canal (or two) on the horizon. With all that happening, writing has slowed down, and concentration has been meh. But my goal is to get back to it this week. I'm going to take the day off (mental Monday) like I usually do on Mondays to regroup and start back fresh the next day. With that said, chapters will be delayed this week.

Other than that, I (well, hubby and I) will be starting some renovations on our home. We've been living here for about 12 years now and have talked about all the changes we want to make, but haven't gotten to them. So now we're going to dip our novice toes into the DIY world. I’ll give updates on how they are going if anyone’s interested. The DIY projects will fit into my many WIPs, but I'll start with easy ones, like a couple of shelves. They shouldn't be that hard, right? I’m gearing up to start a much bigger project next year, so the home renovations are practice. Anyway, I hope you are doing great and your weekend was terrific.
