Happy October
September seemed to have gone in the blink of an eye, and now we’re in October. So, last month, I somehow took a break without realizing it. Let’s just say my health runs my life. I got little to no writing done, even with all the plot bunnies that were hopping around for my attention. As a result, many of the writing goals I had set for myself last month were not accomplished. Meaning Claimed by Death isn’t close to being finished, and although it is 50% halfway done, I don’t feel settled with it. I feel that something is missing in the story, mainly with my characters, and I will step back from it for a bit to work on a couple of other plots I’d set aside before jumping back into it. It will not be for long. I need to figure out what the missing piece is and fill it.
Other than that, I have a few things in the works, one of which is my weekly chat on my Discord, where anyone can join in. We discuss books, anime, BL dramas, movies, music, and anything else we find interesting. This is an open forum, and you do not need to turn your camera on.

The other thing I don’t mind spilling now is that I will be using my YouTube channel more often. Yes, I know I’ve never mentioned having one, but I do. Currently, I primarily post promotions for my books, but I want to expand to include more content and share a bit of myself that I have been hesitant to show to anyone but my family. I am totally camera shy, I think my voice sounds weird…LOL… But there are many times I’ve done things and wanted to share them with you and held back because of my personal hang-ups. One of the things I want to add is my love for food. Even with my dietary restrictions, I am a big-time foodie and a fairly skilled cook (I think so, anyway)…LOL…I love to travel, so I’ll be adding a little or a lot of that. So, what I’m trying to say is that I want to share a little more about the behind-the-scenes aspect of me, other than just talking and discussing writing.

I think that is all I have for now. A new season of Valleywood is starting soon, but I might have two more releases before the end of the year. Or fingers crossed that I get them out.
