It's Another Snowy Monday
Hey everyone,
I don't have much to report today, other than it's going to be a pretty busy week. I'm focused on completing Loved by My Bestfriend's Father (Prince & Finn). That is the title I came up with. It gets straight to the point. My release trajectory is still March. I do have a cover reveal coming soon. I still need to make a couple of tweaks. I really like this cover. After publishing Loved my Bestfriend's Father I plan to take a couple of weeks off before jumping into the next project.
Plus, it will give me a chance to finish up the garage completely. I mean, it's done to the point where it doesn't look like a disaster, and the shelves we made came out absolutely great. We had to stop working because it's too freaking cold. Since we bulk shop, we want to build a cabinet to hold the groceries. Some pictures of the garage below. Our next project is hopefully the laundry room. It's in desperate need of a makeover. We want to paint, replace the floors, and, of course, build some shelves. We keep most of our blankets and stuff in there. Right now, it's organized, but not the way I want. I've been looking at Etsy for cabinet types and enrolled in YouTube University to learn what we need to do and which tools we need to buy. There are so many videos out there that it can be overwhelming, but I'm excited to try something new. I honestly never thought I would be the kind of person who'd want to do DIY projects, but I honestly can't wait for the weather to change.
Another thing that's been happening in my world is that we've been battling ants. I can't tell you how annoying they have been. Every freaking day, I see the dam things all over my bathroom. We've had the pest controllers come out, and exterminators come out to take care of them. But they've all been saying the same thing: it's too cold, and the ants aren't used to this kind of cold, so they are looking for places to hide. I just wish it wasn't my house. Hell, I don't want it to be anyone's house. But they are soooo annoying. I'm sure I said that already.
Okay, I think I've rambled enough for one morning. I hope you all have a wonderful day :)

In the beginning stages
We were just starting.
We made two of these types of shelves, one the full length of one wall and the other just half. Once it warms up we will be able to complete the garage fully.
