Happy Monday

Hey everyone,

I had a great writing week. Parker's Demon is moving along, and the pace is exactly where it should be. I'm hitting my beats. This is going to be a meaty novel. I'm 6 chapters in and over 30K words, and my two main leads haven't seen each other since the events mentioned in Book 3. So their reunion is going to be sweet, hot, emotional, or maybe all three. I hope. Writing this book is reminding me why I love this series. The world-building and the fantasy of it all.

I mentioned last week that hubby and I are working on our deck, well, the entire backyard. It's moving at a steady pace between the weather, work, and writing. We've spent the last week and a half stripping and sanding off the old paint. I think there are about five different layers underneath! Once we finish that, we plan on staining it and a few more things. I can't wait to show you later. Stay tuned. I added an image of our progress so far. I took it on Saturday night just as it started raining.
