Hey everyone

Happy Monday!!

It’s a new month with new things happening, but first, I went to Romanticonn and came back with a stomach bug.

I will start by saying I don’t know if I got sick from someone at the convention, so I will not put any blame on anyone. 

Anyway, Romanticonn happened YAY!!. It was my second year, and I had a great time. Saw some folks I hadn’t seen in a long time readers and authors and met more new friends. I added a couple of pictures, and also a quick unedited video.

There were a couple of things I could complain about; it honestly has little to do with the event as a whole and more to do with the hotel. One, the restaurant wasn’t ready for the influx of people with limited staff, which was something we dealt with last year and had to deal with this year. So we waited two hours for one meal; it was kind of crazy. Some people didn’t even get to eat. I agree with another con goer that the hotel needs to be updated. And they need to hire more staff when they know a convention is coming to town. They had a whole year to prepare for the convention. I will say, although there was limited staff, they were really nice.

I had many plans for when I got home, but that was waylaid by whatever bug I caught that had me staying away from my (writing cave) office for an entire week. Not cool when I had a lot of work to do. Especially when I have scenes for Parker’s Demon popping up in my head at odd times of the day. It was so hard to stay away from my office, but I didn’t even have the strength to do anything much of anything. Speaking of Parker’s Demon, I have been wrestling with some changes (not edits) regarding the book. I’ll talk about it in the next rambles when I’m certain of everything. 

Good news coming soon. I promise.

Then on Saturday it was back to the dentist to finish the root canal; I thought it was close to being over because the last appointment was a partial one. Yeah, I won’t even mention the constant pain I was in the entire time, and then when the pain finally settled, I had to go back for more torture. See why I don’t like the dentist?

Anyway, enough complaining. I have good news! New RLS chapters will be uploaded this week. Yes, yes, I know I was supposed to drop a chapter last month, but with planning everything for Romanticonn and a few other things, it slipped my mind. So look out for the email about the new chapter. Last month was kind of hectic for me; I hope it can slow down some this month. I really wanted to be finished with Parker's Demon, but life always seems to delay me.
