Happy Monday
Hey everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I got a lot of writing done. Parker's Demon is coming along wonderfully. The words are truly flowing. I really missed writing in this world, and now that I'm allowing myself to open it up, my muse seems to be on a roll.
More things that happened this weekend: the work on the deck/balcony is underway. If you remember, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that hubby and I were going to start renovating the backyard. I was originally just going to replace the furniture, go from there, and set up my yearly garden, but we are doing something much different. It's actually what we should have done a long time ago, but life got in the way. And now that we have time in the schedule, we're just renovating it. So this weekend, we started the job of stripping the deck. This is the start of a long project, and I'm learning tools I'ven't used before. And I've been to Lowe's way too many times in the past week to pick out lumber that I care to count. And while working on something else, creativity gives me time to work out plots I get stuck on, so I call it a win.
I want to thank everyone who hopped onto our monthly Discord chat on Saturday night. As always, it was fun, and our book rec list keeps growing. I can't wait for the next session. If you ever want to join a session, click on the link below.
On to other ramblings, this week, I will be doing prep for Pride Lit Con happening June 13th-14th. This conference will be in Richmond, and it's my first time attending. I had planned on going last year, but health reasons prevented me. So I'm excited to be attending this year. If you're in or close to the Richmond area, stop by my table for a chat.
A new, quick, and short YouTube video is up and ready for viewing. Click on the link below. This week, I talk about why I like writing certain tropes.
That's all the ramblings for this week. Have a wonderful week, everyone.
