Chapter Three
Layland took off his jacket, dropping it over the back of his chair before sitting down as he listened to his assistant, Flora, go over his schedule for the day. It sounded as if he was going to be in meetings for the entire day. It was rare that he got to go out on missions with his guys. Since he was in charge of the Boston Bureau office, he had a lot on his plate.
Currently, his guys were working on a case that bothered him. Layland enjoyed his job. Putting people who did terrible things behind bars was a pleasure, but there were some he'd love to do worse than putting them into jail. People like the Mickelbergs, a couple who was a part of a black-market trafficking group: buying and selling beautiful men and women to foreign countries that were out of their reach. While the Mickelbergs were small changes on a long list of subjects, they were predators.
Chapter Two
Silver peeked around the corner watching as Layland, if that was his real name, got in his car and drove off. Leaning back against the wall, he closed his eyes, hoping to stop his tears from falling.
That was so embarrassing. He couldn't keep living like this.
Once he was sure everyone who witnessed his embarrassment was gone, he stepped out of his hiding spot and started the thirty-minute walk home. Three weeks ago, Silver had to sell his car to pay for his mother's new medication and past and present hospital visits. A little over a year ago his mom, Avery, was diagnosed with stage three Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Chapter One
Layland walked down the supermarket aisle trying to figure out what to buy. He was going to Tucker and Lucas's home for dinner.
Since they got married three years earlier, Tucker and Lucas have been trying to get everyone in their world hitched and saddled with kids. It was as if they were working their way through the FBI. First, it was Erich Meadows who got married to Lucas's former assistant, Mathew Shaw, then Terry Anderson, who married one of their co-workers, Micheal Zong. The list was getting longer as the years went by and Layland appeared to be the odd man out, the one they were still having a hard time finding a match for.

"But there is something I want you to help me with," Riley added.
"What?" Tate asked, mid-chew.
"Sperm."

Steven ignored his alarm clock and hummed as he snuggled deeper into his pillow and comfortable bed. Seconds later, he was back to sleep and to the dream he had the night before about a sexy lover he was sure couldn’t be real. Steven had broken up with his last boyfriend a year ago, and for the past three weeks, he’d been dreaming about a man he liked to call Brady.
Chapter Twenty-One
Marcus took a slow sip of his wine, then wandered back to the couch and sank into it. “Are you planning on staying for a bit?”
Victor raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his gaze. “Do you want me to?”
Marcus shrugged, shifting to get comfortable. “Do as you like,” he mumbled, taking another sip. He watched as Victor shrugged off his jacket, carefully draping it over the back of the couch before settling down at the opposite end. When Victor clasped his hands together, Marcus noticed the glint of a gold band on his ring finger.
He’s married.
Elemental Love - Chapter Twelve - Keahi
The club was jumping when Keahi walked into Club Fire. It was what he loved to see when he entered his businesses. What made it equally better was that it was in the middle of the week. Moving further into the place, he nodded to the bartender and went to the back where the office was. He knew that his brother Caspian was waiting for him.
Caspian handled all of the legal aspects of their businesses and should have been the one to meet with Spencer Andreasopoulos earlier, but a meeting delayed him, and he couldn't get out of it. Although he worked for himself, Caspian took on clients that would make him enough money in one day, and some were just from consultations alone. If there was one thing he knew about his little brother, it was his love of money. And since his brother had expensive taste, the man had to make a lot to afford his lifestyle. It was one of the reasons he paid Destin so much. Keahi knew once the two got together, Destin would have to adhere to his brother's lifestyle.
“Hey, Cas,” Keahi called out when he entered the office.
“You finally made it,” Caspian stood from the desk, walking over to greet him. Keahi got a good look at his brother and noted he didn't look too good.

Chapter Twelve - TL
"Do you want your dad to kick me out of bed?" He scooped her into his arms, kissing her cheek as she giggled. "No spear. Think of something else while I’m away, and if I can find it, I’ll get it for you. How’s that?"
She sighed dramatically, clearly unimpressed with his compromise. "Okay, I guess," she mumbled. "But I really want a spear."
Leo had no doubt she meant every word.
It had been six weeks since he and Jason got hitched. The only ones who knew were Talos and the kids, who had been so ecstatic they refused to leave his side. Leo had taken a full week off just to spend time with them, a decision that had apparently shocked the staff, according to Talos.
In the weeks since their marriage, he had learned a few things. The twins had Jason wrapped around their little fingers, but Jason was also a good father, one who knew when to discipline and when to let things slide. Leo had also come to realize that, despite being inseparable, the more time he spent with them separately, the more their unique personalities shone through.
One thing was certain: Xander was fiercely protective of Sera. Together, they were downright mischievous, and every day felt like the start of a new prank war. Like the other morning when Leo had stumbled out of bed, still half-asleep, and walked straight into a Saran-wrapped doorway. That had definitely been Xander’s idea. Or the night Jason had to work late, and the kids filled the bathtub with soap, creating a mountain of bubbles that flooded the entire bathroom. That one had Sera’s name all over it. Leo had barely managed to call a clean-up crew in time before Jason got home.
Chapter Eleven - TL
"You enjoy being tortured, I see," Leo whispered against his skin, moving to the other nipple, torturing it far more and longer than he did the other.
Jason twitched, thighs clenching, his entire body tightening beneath him. "Please, Husband, no more," he gasped, his voice breaking, utterly wrecked.
Leo pulled back, meeting his gaze, hungry, commanding, unwavering. "Don’t ever forget it again."
Jason didn't speak. Didn’t dare. His lips parted, his gaze glassy with need, body taut, breath ragged. And then he surrendered, surging up and crushing their lips together in another searing kiss, shattering whatever was left of Leo’s restraint.
Chapter Ten - TL
Maybe that was why his family had treated him like he was defective.
A disappointment.
Despite everything, Jason had always pushed forward. He had tried to stay positive, to carve out a place for himself in a world that had already decided he was less-than. He had spent his entire life proving himself, throwing everything into his career, into building a future for his kids. He showered them with love, encouraged their creativity no matter how insane it sounded to him. Maybe he was overcompensating, but he wanted to make sure they never felt the way he had growing up.
And getting married and finding a mate was never part of the plan.
But now he was married.
Not just to anyone, but to Leonidas Devereux. A tycoon. An exceptional man who could one day break Jason’s heart when he found an omega who fit him better than Jason ever could.
Maybe that was why their vows had been so simple. No elaborate declarations. No grand gestures.

"Leo and I have something to tell you both," Jason said, looking at Sera and Xander.
He and Leo had talked about it, but he felt the kids deserved to know what was happening. This was a major moment in their lives, and they had a right to be included.
"We’re getting married," Leo announced before Jason could even finish gathering his thoughts.
Chapter Eight - TL
Leo’s gaze flicked toward the kitchen, where Jason stood with his back turned, focused on preparing dinner. He moved with effortless grace, his lean, toned body shifting fluidly with each motion. He had the kind of swimmer’s build Leo liked. Not too much muscle, not too little, just enough to feel solid beneath his hands.
The thought stirred something at the back of Leo’s mind. A flicker of memory. The press of warm skin. The sound of breathy moans. A body writhing beneath him, nails dragging down his back, pleading for more.
Yeah, definitely my type, Leo thought, pinching the bridge of his nose as he tried to shake off the erotic thoughts creeping in about the twins’ father.
"Papa, watching it?" Sera’s small voice pulled him from his thoughts.
"Yes," he answered automatically, not even bothering to correct her. He had given up trying. Both she and Xander were dead set on making him their father, and strangely, the idea didn’t scare him as much as it probably should have.
Chapter Seven - TL
"Marry me."
Jason’s brain short-circuited. His ears started ringing.
"I must have heard that wrong. Say that again?"
"I said marry me. I’m being serious." His tone was casual, like he was discussing the weather. "It will be for one year. I’ll pay you five million and give you a home in any district you choose."
Jason blinked at him.
What. The. Flying. Fuck.
He stared at the man, completely stunned, genuinely wondering if something was wrong with him. Who offers marriage and millions to a complete stranger?
Is this guy crazy? Does he not realize this is real life and not some reality show where people get married in 2.2 seconds after meeting? Wait. Am I on a reality show and don’t know it?
