Happy Tuesday

Hey everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Monday.

I know I usually do these on Mondays, but I really needed to take Monday off to get my thoughts together.

So this weekend was Pride Lit Con, and it was also my first time attending. I really enjoyed this event. It was not overwhelming, and it gave me time to meet new-to-me readers and authors. And yes, I sold a few books. I also got to talk with readers who have been following my writing career from the beginning. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my table. It was truly wonderful to hear what you thought of my characters, and I appreciate you keeping me encouraged even if you didn't know it. I want to give a big shout-out to Mr. Gia Reaves for always being my conference assistant; without him, I wouldn’t be able to lift those heavy carts :)

I have a lot to get caught up on this week, so I won't be posting anything chapter-wise until next week. Honestly, the only downside to going to conferences is being thrown off my schedule. I know it's only a weekend, but there are a lot of things that I try to get done, so I leave my weekdays to nothing but writing and hitting my daily word count. So chapter postings will start again next week.
