Happy Monday
Hey everyone,
I hope y'all had a great weekend. As I mentioned in my last update post, I went to see Jackson Wang, and let me tell you, it was so amazing. I've been following his career since GOT7, and his growth is so wonderful to see. Not to mention, he's been the inspiration to a couple of my characters, not in the sense of his handsomeness, but for how hard he works to perfect his craft as an artist. The crowd's energy was so electrifying, I honestly couldn't stop thinking about the concert all weekend. I did get a couple of videos, but not enough because I was busy watching and enjoying the show.
On a different front, I have a week off from school. YAY! I don't have much planned for my week off, but I do plan to write. I'm jumping back into a series that I had put aside because the plot was taking a lot out of me with the first three books. But I am excited and ready to write the fourth book. Will this be the last book in the series? I don't know, to be honest. Do you want to know how happy I am to get back into this series? I've already got my cover. And it's so gorgeous. It speaks to the heart of the story (I hope) anyway. I have ideas and points I want to include in this book, and just as I wrote the first half of Loved By My Best Friend's Dad by hand, I will do the same with this one.
Now, here's the thing: I started writing this book three years ago, but, like I said, I set it aside because I wasn't feeling it. Something was off. The plot I wanted wasn't hitting. I wrote maybe 1/3 of the book, and now I am starting from scratch. It happens sometimes. For me, personally, as an author, I know others probably feel the same way. If the plot doesn't read or sound right, I won't be able to publish it. I always go by the motto: write what I love to read and read what I love to write. Which is why some of my books are so beefy (long) and why I think I'm a slow writer: I stress every word I write and want to make sure any cultural aspect I might include is correct, even if my story is fiction.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Have a wonderful day and week :)

I added clips of the concert.
