I hope you had a great weekend and that the new week and September aren’t treating you too badly. Nothing much happened in my world. My hubby celebrated his birthday this past weekend, and we had a great time, and I’m still writing and building…YAY…

The sad part for me is that summer starts to wind down. And even the backyard is not where I want it to be; I’m not stopping. The entire remodel took a lot longer than I was expecting, but I seriously blame it on the rainy weather around here. And each time it rains, we have to let the deck dry before we can stain or sand it, and the same goes for the furniture. Even though I wear protective gear, I can’t sand all the time indoors; the dust isn't good for my lungs. Things might change when the weather changes, and the only thing I need to worry about is dressing warmly. Anyway, I finished all the chairs and hope to start working on the side tables this week. I don’t think they will take long. I’m going with an easy build. Well, I think it’s easy, but we will see. I’m no pro at this, so we will see how it goes.

Writing has been going great. Since I took a step back and started re-editing Parker’s Demon, I feel less stressed (still stressed… LOL… but less). The earlier chapters solidify the story and the heavy worldbuilding, but now it also brings Aoi and Parker’s connection into focus. If you’ve been reading my books for a long time, I’m big on connection and feeling for my characters, and if I cannot feel it or see it while writing, I know it would be the same for you. I’m 57% done with the story. Y’all, I think this is going to be a meaty story. Oh, and the new cover is coming along. I’m so excited; I can’t wait to show you all.

I’m also in the process of getting ready for two more conventions happening in October. Get Witchy with in Salem, MA - Getting Witchy With It near Salem, MA 10th-11th and Fall In Love New England - Fall in Love New England 23rd-25th.
