Happy Monday

Hey everyone,

This was one of those weeks that I can’t say what I’ve accomplished and what I haven’t. I went into Monday with optimism. I planned on getting a lot of writing done and so many other things, and I did nothing. 

Well, not nothing.

I did finish some edits on Parker’s Demon, and I will say I like the additions. The plot hasn’t changed (yet), so that is a plus :). Parker and Aoi are still on the right track. I still won’t give a release timeframe yet, but I will let you know when the time is right. Not only did I not get much writing done, but I also ended up seeing the dentist because of a freaking toothache that won’t freaking quit. So now I have to get a root canal, not something I’m looking forward to. Have I ever told you guys I hate needles? You guys know I have a weird ass imagination, so you know that scene in Little Shop of Horrors (great musical) where the dentist pretty much works on that guy's mouth high as hell, that's how I imagine my dentist will do my root canal. I know it won't happen that way, but like I said, wild imagination.

Son, be a dentist

It's not my first root canal, but as I said, I hate needles. I get super nervous about the whole thing. So I'm going to have to figure out how to keep myself calm before I go in. So if anyone has any suggestions on what I can do, let me know in the comments.

Seriously HELP!

On the DIY front, I finished one project. YAY! And now I’m on to the next one. I’m kind of excited about this new project. I am honestly taking this summer to discover new talents I have been afraid to explore. I’m trying not to talk myself out of things because they look too difficult to tackle, and I keep telling myself there's nothing wrong with trying, so it’s not a failure if it doesn’t come out exactly the way the plans look in the picture, even if I cut once and measure a bunch of times. I added a picture below. Let me know what you think.

So I got some reading done this week. I read Love of Silom before I watched the BL series.  If you didn't know, I love watching BL as much as I love anime. Other than reading, it's mostly the kind of media I consume. Anyway, this book was a pretty easy read, and I read it in one sitting. Click on the image if you want to check it out.
