I hope everyone who celebrates the 4th of July had a wonderful weekend. I spent the weekend writing. It was too hot to go outside and do anything else.

I wasn’t going to leave my air-conditioned space for anyone or anything.

I have a full week ahead of me. I’m still editing through Parker’s Demon chapters. I’m still on track to release it in the month I have in mind. Because I want to keep things consistent, I keep revisiting notes I made from previous books, starting from chapter one and closing up gaps I left open, so there are a lot of flashbacks. I’m serious when I say this book will be longer than the others. It might also be the longest book I’ve ever written. I’m actually kind of proud of that.

I’m starting a new semester this week, another 10 weeks to learn something new. Last semester was a lot, to tell you the truth, and looking at the syllabus, it seems this one will be the same. But I can’t complain; I was the one who decided to go back to school, so I just gotta put my big girl panties on and suck it up.

With Romanticonn only a couple of weeks away, I’m sort of ready. Waiting for a few things to be delivered, but until then I will keep writing. Remember, if you are in the Trumbull, Connecticut area, stop by my table. I can’t wait to meet you.
